First things first. It's really difficult to spell his name. Something I just realized. A long time ago Amitabh Bachchan (I am not sure how to spell his name either, anyways) in one interview took his name and made me realize that I used to pronounce it incorrectly. I used to pronounce it Reshamayya!!! But since then I corrected it to Reshamiya (like reshami or somthing) but the spelling correction realization didn't happen until now.
So well after a long break dude is back sans the cap. So far I have heard three songs from his new movie Karzzz. Let's talk about the first one 'Lut Jaun'. I first heard it on FM. The underlying tone continues all through the song. That's uniq and gutsy. To keep it on all through.
But then looping is what makes Himesh so hummbale. This repetition is why we can't get the damn song out of our minds. They just get imprinted there due to the bombardment.
So he's done that to the extreme in this song. The main theme tone just goes on and on and on. He tops it with Aaaalaaaaps and they are real nice too. Then the song begins and my favorite drums come into the picture! Himesh is a master when it comes to using the drums and building the composition. In the end I love this song. As of now that is. I am sure I'll get sick of it. But as of now this song rox.
The second song is all over the network. Hari om hari om hari om om. With the fake accent. This one's ok. Very similar to so many other hits of his.
The last one is the remake of Ik Haseena Thee. Man he's messed this song. The guitar is good but rest all is crap. The gaps in 'us gali men' 'mera aanaa' 'jaanaa tha' are essential. They create the tension that's the soul of this song. oh he has so messed this one up. Anyways. Lut jaun lut jaun lut jaun is good.
